Training Programs
The Basic Security Officers Training Programs are establish by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Department and taught by schools (academies) and instructors approved and licensed by the State of Texas. The basic training course approved by the State of Texas for commissioned security officers consist of a minimum of 65 hours (3 phases) and includes topics such as;
- Legal limitations on the use of firearms and on the powers and authority of a security officer;
- Familiarity with the Security Act of Texas (its laws about security). This training course can be adjusted or changed to meet the laws of any country;
- Field note taking and report writing;
- Range firing and procedure, and firearms safety and maintenance; and
- Any other topics of security officer training curriculum which the State of Texas deems necessary.

Our second course of training is the Texas Right to Carry Handgun Laws. Here we teach the citizens of Texas, the legal aspects of carrying a handgun. The course of studies include the following topic which are mandated by the State of Texas through its Department of Public Safety:
- Concealed Handgun License Requirements and Restrictions;
- Public Contact with Law Enforcement Agencies;
- Use of Force and selected Deadly Force Statutes;
- Non-Violent Dispute Resolution;
- Weapon Storage and Safety Practice;
- Basic Marksmanship;
- Handgun use and Evaluation;
- Range Safety;
- Handgun Proficiency and;
- State Certification.
